Paramount Pictures Tuesday announced Grammy Award-winning rapper Kanye West would sing the theme for the upcoming Mission: Impossible III.

As a fan of Kanye’s work, I was thrilled at the prospect of him contributing his talents to ‘M:i:III,’ Tom Cruise said in a news release.

We wanted to take this installment of ‘Mission’ to the next level and Kanye’s music definitely added to accomplishing that goal, Tom continued. As we’ve done with the film, what he’s done with the ‘Mission’ theme is going to blow people away.

Tom and Katie will to fly to Australia next week to attend the funeral of media mogul Kerry Packer.

Katie is said to be making the 14 hour flight despite doctors advice that it could be risky.

Tom is attending the Sydney Opera House memorial to support his friend and Kerry’s son Jame Packer, who is also a Scientologist.

An insider close Tom and Katie Holmes has confirmed that a lavish wedding for the two will take place as soon as their baby is born.

The source says, “The rumors that they had scrapped their marriage plans aren’t true. They will wed, after the baby’s born.”

Rumor has it that they now know the exact date of the birth, but have sworn family and friends to secrecy.

“And they know the sex of the baby, too. We all believe it’s a boy but they won’t even let us in on the secret,” according to the source.

Behind Katie’s glow, Star has learned, that the roughly seven-months-pregnant actress is a bundle of nerves. Friends say she seems worried that she’ll give birth to a preemie — like her mother did with her!

“Katie’s mom went into labor with her almost two months early,” says a friend of the Batman Begins star.

“Katie was only four pounds at birth and it was touch-and-go for several days before doctors determined that she was going to make it. She seems desperately afraid that the same thing could happen to her!”

Paramount has pre-emptively bought a love story being written by Marc Klein with Tom in mind for the lead role.

The untitled film was described to Daily Variety as “an original and very moving love story.”

Tom is reportedly lining up his next job for after Mission: Impossible 3.

Klein has credits on “Serendipity” and “A Good Year,” an upcoming Fox drama/romance starring Russell Crowe and directed by Ridley Scott.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise may have put their sex life on hold a report suggests.

According to ‘In Touch.’

“An insider” tells In Touch Weekly that Tom Cruise “has put the brakes on their lovemaking.” It turns out that Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard “wrote that a mother-to-be shouldn’t engage in sex because it could negatively impact the baby.”

Tom has been nominated for 3 Razzie Awards, which isn’t really a good thing I suppose.

Tom earned his three Razzie nominations, as worst actor for “War of the Worlds” and two of the five slots in a new Razzies category for most tiresome tabloid targets. Cruise was nominated there for his anti-psychiatry rant and for his romance with Katie Holmes.
