Newly married Tom and Katie have dismissed reports they have bought an English mansion. Us Weekly had previously claimed they had paid $4.75 million on a six-bedroom house in West Sussex.
A spokesperson for the people currently living in the house, says “they have no intention of selling.”

An £8million trust has already been set up for Miss Holmes, 27, and the couple’s two-week-old daughter Suri, regardless of whether the couple marry or not.
Sources say if they do marry and later divorce, Miss Holmes will receive an additional £14million from Cruise, who is said to be worth £250million.
The pre-nuptial agreement has been the subject of intense negotiations between Cruise’s lawyers and Miss Holmes’s father Martin, a divorce solicitor.
The discussions took so long the couple’s plans to marry before their daughter was born had to be put on hold.
The wedding date has now been set for July. And with financial arrangements finally agreed, tension between Cruise and his strict Catholic in-laws-to-be has lessened.
Katie Holmes has allegedly asked Victoria Beckham to be her birthing partner. The screen beauty - who is expecting her first baby with fiancé Tom Cruise this year - reportedly wants the former Spice Girl to be by her side when she goes into labour.
A source told Britain’s Grazia magazine: “Victoria and Katie have struck a real rapport ever since they were introduced by Tom and both of them are thrilled by the friendship.
Because the pair live in different countries - mum-of-three Victoria lives in Spain, while Katie lives in the US - they are spending time on the phone preparing for the birth.
The source added: “Twice a week they both set aside half an hour to chat about the impending birth and any worries Katie might have. “Sometimes they even practise breathing exercises over the phone.”
n a recent poll in Stuff magazine, readers said they’d rather spend the night with Saddam Hussein than with Tom Cruise. They asked their readers who they’d least like to share a camping tent with and Tom Cruise won with 41%. Saddam Hussein came in second with 39%, Pat O’Brien with 15%, and Kathy Griffin last at 5%.

“During the trip, Tom and Katie made sure to smile for photographers but the smiles vanished once the cameras weren’t around. Some insiders even compared the pair’s behavior to a performance.
“Tom had a fake smile on his face, and Katie looked pissed off,” says an insider. “Then she saw the cameras and was all smiles. It looked posed, like ‘The Tom Show’ was on.”
In fact, Tom’s desire to keep up his image is one thing Katie has begun to hate about their interaction, say insiders. “Katie knows their relationship isn’t going to work and she doesn’t like being a part of a huge PR campaign,” an insider says.”
